THE BATS
Paul Aldred has spent the last few years
honing his bat making skills to produce high
quality top performing cricket bats. Taking his
knowledge from the professional game and
adding it to the production of these bats has
enabled him to produce top quality bats at
affordable prices made to your specifications.
We are currently producing two ranges Gold
Sovereign and Silver Sovereign. These bats
are graded by ourselves in the workshop and
are judged on the performance of each
individual piece of willow.

All bats are made to your requirements,
whatever it is you are looking for we can put
our knowledge and skills into practice to
produce the perfect bat for you. Choose the
profile you prefer either our own shapes or
recreate that special bat that you have
always loved to play with, even select your
own willow cleft pressed to your liking and
see the making of your bat through from start
to finish.
TRADITION
There are a handful of people in this country
still using these traditional skills as many of
the bats are now made overseas and we are
committed to keeping these skills alive and
well in England. Every piece of willow is hand
selected straight from the oldest willow
producer in the world J S Wright in Essex
and lovingly shaped by hand in our small
workshop in Derbyshire.
